Benjamin Sweetman

Ben Sweetman is Co-Founder and Chief Platform Officer of MBD Clarendon. He oversees the design and implementation of the firm’s banking, settlement, and transaction infrastructure, including integration with strategic technology partners and financial institutions. Ben works closely with governments, central banks, and banking partners to support the operational deployment of MBD Clarendon’s sovereign investment platforms.

Benjamin Sweetman is a seasoned trader with extensive knowledge of CCAS and other settlement systems across various markets since 2011. He has managed his family office Sinocap Financial Group Ltd since 2014.

He has developed a core understanding of block trade and dividend arbitrage transactions across various global markets with trade values totaling more that 40 Billion USD. His focus more recently have shifted to the LatAm Capital and Real Estate Markets and inter Governmental transactions within the region.

Prior to a shift to the management of his family office Benjamin was Regional Manager for a market leading Diamond consortium and is a graduate gemologist with extensive knowledge of the Diamond Industry.
